Make a Plan

We will assess your track and formulate a plan of action, this includes checking for any distortion, noise and other artififacts that will have a detromental impact on your master

Equalisation

We will use EQ to enhance the sonic character of the mix, eliminate problematic frequencies and using Mid/Side techniques, we will keep your track sounding focused

Compression

Compression can help the instruments within a mix to gel more smoothly together, giving them shared dynamics, tightness and energy

Stereo Enhancement

A narrow sounding track can give the listener a dull experience, stereo enhancement gives your track a wider feel and in addition offers greater instrument seperation within a mix

Limiting & Loudness Control

Limiting is how we get the tracks volume up to commercial level. We will ensure the audio meets this, without compromising on quality

Check Mono Compatibility

Making sure your track is compatible in mono ensures good translation between different systems. Clubs and bars often use mono as room dimensions don’t always allow for stereo

Dithering

When decreasing bit depth, dither should be added to avoid quantization errors (truncation distortion). Commercial music is usually 16bit from a 24bit source for example
